We are looking for an ACPT-qualified pharmacy technicians to lead on checking and maintaining the workflow of the dispensary at Epsom General Hospital.
We’re a close-knit bunch, united in our purpose to provide a first-class service to our patients, whilst looking out for one another as a first-class team!
It’s fast-paced and you’ll need a good eye for detail as well as excellent customer care skills in order to liaise effectively with our patients, and MDT members. You must be a fully qualified accredited checking technician (ACPT) in order to apply for this role.

Main duties of the job
To assist in the management of the day to day checking of inpatient and outpatient workload.
To ensure the safe, efficient and timely dispensing of prescriptions following departmental policy and meeting the needs of the patients and the pharmacy department.

Essential criteria
1. BTEC / NVQ Level 3 Certified Pharmacy Technician registered with GPhC
2. Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) Certificate.
Experience

3. Post qualification hospital experience
4. Experience in supervision of staff
5. Patient counselling
Desirable criteria
6. Experience with the CMM (previously known as JAC) pharmacy computer system
7. Understanding of and participation in data collection for KPIs and audit
8. Dispensing/supply of clinical trials
