Lymphoedema Nursing Associate / Assistant Practitioner Location: The Prince of Wales Hospice, WF8 4BG Salary: £27,107 - £29,778 (dependent on experience) Hours: 37.5 hours per week Are you passionate and dedicated? At The Prince of Wales Hospice, we provide specialist palliative care in many settings including our In-patient unit, community settings, and out-patient clinics across the district. Our main Hospice is located just minutes from Junction 32 of the M62 in Pontefract, where we provide some of our outpatient clinics for our successful Lymphoedema clinic. We are expanding our Lymphoedema service so looking for the perfect person to work as a Lymphoedema Nursing Associate / Assistant Practitioner. This unique role, supports people living with lymphoedema by delivering high-quality, compassionate care to the people of Wakefield. About the Role Key responsibilities will include: Delivering treatment. Conducting unsupervised clinics for stable patients and supporting review clinics. Educating patients and carers on self-care and lifestyle practices. Assessing and monitoring treatment outcomes. Liaising with internal and external services to ensure holistic patient support. Participating in wellbeing groups and initiatives. About You: To succeed in this role, you will be: Qualified Nursing Associate or Equivalent in Healthcare. Experienced working independently and in multidisciplinary teams. Skilled communicator. Understanding of safe practice environments and professional boundaries.
