What will I be doing?
Leading a team of 2 supervisors & 2 site project engineers, in this role you will be promoting our company values – Growth, Accountability, Engagement, Respect & Safety. Providing a safe and optimised Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility maintaining Civil and Military Landing Gears and Equipment. Proactivity is key to continuously evolve the sites EHS compliance & safety culture, plant & equipment performance & site visual aesthetics.

Facilities & Maintenance Key Responsibilities
•Lead and develop the Facilities team, fostering high performance and continuous improvement.
•Oversee facilities operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and outstanding service delivery.
•Drive strategic initiatives, including sustainability programmes.
•Manage budgets effectively, optimising resources and cost efficiency.
•Act as site focal for SAFRAN maintenance Best Practice
•Management of Contractors on site, compliance to HSE and Service Level Agreement commitments.
Job Requirements
What do I need to succeed in the role?
Management experience in a similar or related manufacturing environment
•Change Management & Risk Management process
•Working knowledge of ISO OHSAS 18001 & BSI ISO 14001 Management Systems
•Experience of working in a lower tier COMAH facility
•Experience in facilities management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
•Knowledge and understanding of integrated facilities and supplier management
•Extensive project management experience gained in similar environment including directing resource and cost control
•Experience of project managing multiple projects, ability to read, interpret, and understand programs, drawings, schedules, and specifications
•Flexibility – open to improvements and change
•Strong written communication skills, strong client liaison and communication skills, excellent leadership, management, and team development skills with experience of leading a team of project managers and site teams.

Key Deliverables:
Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) Accountable for compliance to UK Legislation and SAFRAN Group Standards. Ensuring the Health and Safety of those working on site and managing Environmental Risk associated to onsite processing activities.
Facilities & Maintenance (F&M) Responsible for maintaining the Buildings, Grounds, Infrastructure and Plant & Equipment therein. Providing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programs and ad hoc breakdown support.
Project Management Responsible for the delivery of Capital projects improving the sites manufacturing efficiency and capability. Whilst simultaneously ensuring:
•Health Safety & Environmental Compliance
•Safran Process Specification Compliance
•Carbon & Energy Management (Reduction)
•Enhancing the employee experience by improving the sites look and feel
General Management Responsibilities: As a member of the Middle Management Team, you will:
•Accountable delivery of departmental spend budget (Overhead spend)
•Coach/mentor 2 Supervisors & 2 site project engineers
Focal responsibility for SAFRAN reporting, audits & compliance to group guidelines
• Report Key Performance Indicators and Corrective Action Plans
• Support Calibration, Security and Enterprise Risk Management activity for the site
Health Safety & Environmental Key Responsibilities
• Lead the enhancement of the Safety Culture across the site
• Develop and maintain HSE procedures and drive their adoption across all teams
