Associate/Senior Associate - Real Estate Finance
Location: Gloucester, Gloucestershire, UK, GL1 1
Your Role
* Dealing with all aspects of real estate finance transactions, acting for multiple lender clients
* Handling all aspects of real estate due diligence, drafting, negotiation, managing matters to completion
* Dealing with post‑completion formalities, including registration in the Land Register of Scotland and at Companies House
* Nurturing both existing and new client relationships, running own files with early responsibility for delivery of transactions
* Providing all our clients with a quality service in accordance with the Firm's procedures
* Opportunities for business development and enhancement of the current services we offer
* Support and supervision of junior team members, assisting in their development
Your Skills & Experience
* A Scottish qualified lawyer with 3+ years' PQE, with previous real‑estate finance experience
* Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills, self‑motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines
* Commercial awareness, enthusiasm for business development and an appetite for keeping up to date with the latest developments in the practice area and sector focus
* Ability to understand clients' business needs, acting in the best interest of the firm and the client
* Ambitious and enthusiastic team player, able to support senior fee earners and contribute to a collaborative culture
About the Team
We are newly recruiting for an Associate or Senior Associate to join our Real Estate Finance team in Glasgow or Edinburgh. This role is offered on a full‑time, flexible working basis and would best suit a qualified lawyer with 3+ years' PQE.
