About The Role
Please note: This role is a Full Time role 40hrs per week.
In your role as a Head Housekeeper at HC-One, you’ll value kindness above all else. Kindness drives every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Every single person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. By joining HC-One you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.
For you, as a Head Housekeeper, this will mean ensuring that you and the housekeeping team keep an absolutely spotless home for our residents. You’ll manage the cleaning rota, leading by example. Whether planning the week’s laundry, ordering cleaning supplies, or reading up on infection control procedures, you’ll always prioritize the wellbeing of our residents.
HC-One is looking for an experienced Head Housekeeper with proven team leadership, record keeping, and time management skills. You should have outstanding awareness of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations, as well as infection control. Most importantly, you should possess positive energy and a natural ability to get along with people. When communicating with residents or colleagues, always be considerate and kind.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. It is important that you can recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional relevant training. You should be able to seek advice and report concerns appropriately.
We’ll provide full training, offering a great opportunity to learn new skills. In return, you will enjoy a variety of benefits supporting your wellbeing and career development, including:
* Hourly rate subject to experience and qualifications
* Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG
* Free uniform
* Nutritious meal during shifts of eight hours or more
