Social Care Assistant – Overview
Moss Park is a nursing home located in the Lochaber area offering holistic, person‑centred support to older adults requiring long‑term care in a homely environment. A position is now available for enthusiastic care assistants who are eager to provide hands‑on support and help residents maintain as much independence as possible.
Responsibilities
* Provide direct patient care, including personal care and assistance with daily activities.
* Support residents with medication management and care planning.
* Work within a close team and develop communication skills with residents, families, and colleagues.
* Facilitate activities and support residents to visit the local community or pursue hobbies.
* Assist with recording care observations and maintaining accurate documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
* Evidence of prior care experience or willingness to undergo staff development programmes.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to NHS values and person‑centred care.
