Overview
Chef De Partie role at Dakota Hotels in South Queensferry. Permanent contract with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week; typically 10:00–22:00, 5 days out of 7 including weekends. Earnings are £14.55 per hour, paid weekly, with a minimum guaranteed gross annual salary of £28,400 (inclusive of anticipated tron c payment).
Responsibilities
* Be confident in a busy service and able to run at least two different sections within the kitchen.
* Prepare and cook dishes according to the Head Chef’s specifications for all menus (a la carte, room service, breakfast, bar food, bar snacks, events, and guest amenities).
* Carry out prep work in allocated sections with strong knife skills.
* Multi-task and manage busy service times.
* Clean down the kitchen fully and maintain an immaculate working environment.
* Work as part of the team with effective communication with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
* Adhere to Health & Safety and Food Hygiene legislation.
* Demonstrate a willingness to learn and support across different areas of the kitchen.

Applicant Requirements
* A minimum of 2 years of professional cooking experience in a full-service restaurant (Commis Chef or Demi Chef)
* Experience in fish and meat preparation
* Passion for quality food and preparation
* Hardworking and a team player
* Food Safety qualifications are preferred; training in Health & Safety, Allergens, and Food Hygiene will be provided
* Positive, enthusiastic attitude and culture fit
