At Targeted Provision, we are dedicated to transforming the educational landscape for young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND). Our focus extends to those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). We believe in the potential of every child and are looking for passionate tutors to help us make a difference.

Your Role as an SEN / SEND Tutor:
* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other educational needs
* Support students referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journeys
* Deliver flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver tailored teaching sessions that meet individual needs
* Create engaging and holistic learning experiences to enhance educational and social-emotional development
* Document lesson reports and provide constructive feedback on student progress
Requirements to Join Our Team:
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS)
* A minimum of 2 years teaching experience
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other educational needs
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this at cost if needed)
* Two professional references
* Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments
It is essential that you promote the health, safety, and well-being of children and adhere to safeguarding policies at all times.
Employment Details:
* This position is on a Worker basis, providing short-term engagements as needed
* You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE
* No guaranteed work hours or expense coverage
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us
* This is not a self-employed tutoring position
