Vibra Hospital of Western Massachusetts - Central Campus, located in Rochdale, MA, is a 47-bed Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Our patients often require additional critical care services for complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer a fast-paced, friendly work environment where you can truly connect with your patients and their families.
Responsibilities
Assists licensed nursing personnel in patient care by performing and documenting activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and grooming, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Applies basic infection control procedures, nutrition, and fluid intake skills. Recognizes emergency situations and responds appropriately.
Required Skills
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Current, valid certification to practice as a Nurse Apprentice, Nurse Technician, or Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of employment; or active Nursing student enrolled in a Nursing Program or recent graduate authorized to practice as a Nurse, Nurse Apprentice, or Nurse Technician.
* Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
Additional Qualifications/Skills
* Experience in acute care or LTAC preferred. Ability to project a professional image.
* Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance.
* Strong organizational, prioritization, and analytical skills.
* Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
* Working knowledge of relevant computer and software applications.
* Freedom from illegal drug use and effects of substance abuse in the workplace.
