This role offers an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or a qualified professional seeking exposure within a structured, international finance environment.
* German language skills (spoken and/or written)
* Exposure to German accounting standards, overseas reporting, or international group structures
The Role
Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and supporting business performance across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
* Budgeting and forecasting, working closely with operational stakeholders
* Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close processes
* Supporting group reporting requirements and adherence to reporting deadlines
* Business partnering with non-finance teams to provide financial insight
* Cashflow forecasting and working capital analysis
* Assisting with year-end accounts and audit processes
* Continuous improvement of financial controls, processes, and reporting
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
* Strong background in management accounting within a commercial environment
* Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
* Strong Excel skills; ERP system experience beneficial
* Proactive, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
