This isn’t a desk‑based role tucked away from the action.
You’ll be out in the business, working closely with teams, supporting managers, and becoming a trusted, go‑to presence on site.

You’ll take ownership of day‑to‑day HR across the Gloucestershire sites, partnering closely with managers and employees to keep things running smoothly and supporting a positive, practical working environment.
It’s a role for someone who enjoys being present, approachable and involved… not sitting behind a screen all day.
What you’ll be doing
* Acting as a trusted point of contact for HR support
* Managing employee relations matters (absence, performance, sensitive cases)
* Supporting hiring, onboarding and general people processes
* Preparing contracts, policies and documentation
* Keeping HR systems and records up to date
* Leading meetings including disciplinaries, grievances and return to work discussions
* Spotting ways to improve processes and keep things simple and effective
What we’re looking for
* Good working knowledge of UK employment law
* Confident, approachable and able to build trust quickly
* Practical, organised and comfortable working independently
* Experience with HR systems and documentation
* Happy being on site five days a week and travelling between locations
