Role Description
Simon Mack Architecture is seeking a full-time Part 2 Architectural Assistant or recently qualified Architect to join their team.
You will support the delivery of high-end residential schemes, taking ownership of defined work packages and moving projects through the RIBA stages. We provide a supportive environment with clear mentorship, but we value the independence of designers who can manage their own workflows.
Working on-site in our lovely Henley-on-Thames studio, the role involves producing detailed technical and architectural drawings, assisting with design development, preparing presentations, and engaging directly with clients and consultants. The ideal candidate will collaborate on a variety of residential projects, contributing throughout different project stages.
A working knowledge of ArchiCAD will certainly help you hit the ground running, but more importantly, we are looking for a designer with a genuine passion for the specific challenges and rewards of bespoke residential architecture.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Technical Drawing and Architectural Drawings
* Strong skills in Architecture, including design and project development
* Excellent Communication and Presentation abilities
* Experience in residential architecture is a plus
* Familiarity with design software and industry standards
* RIBA Part 2 qualification or recently qualified Architect
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in an on-site team setting
