They are seeking a contracts specialist to join their team as a Senior Legal Associate (Contract Management) in Hemel Hempstead. Our client is a market leader in Integrated Law, combining Traditional Law, New Law, and in-house legal expertise to deliver complex legal work at scale. They collaborate with corporate legal departments to address the increasing demands of transactional legal work, utilizing specialist expertise, AI-powered solutions, and business process knowledge to improve performance and legal outcomes.
Their clients include Fortune 500 companies, global banks, pharmaceutical firms, and large technology corporations. The team comprises over 300 lawyers, legal specialists, technologists, and process consultants across Europe and North America.
Your Role:
As the Senior Legal Associate (Contract Management), you will support clients by drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts, providing general support to the contracts management and in-house legal teams. You should be a team player, able to collaborate and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, and possess a result-driven, confident, and energetic approach.
Responsibilities:
1. Drafting and negotiating various Commercial Contracts.
2. Collaborating with clients' in-house legal teams on international deals, bids, procurement, marketing, professional services, media, technology, or consumer matters.
3. Managing active caseloads and ensuring compliance with delivery commitments.
4. Updating and managing data on company and client systems.
5. Developing contract templates, playbooks, and tools for team use.
6. Contributing to continuous service improvement and value addition.
Requirements:
* Law Degree and/or legally qualified.
* Legally eligible to work in the UK.
* Minimum 4 years of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, preferably within a law firm, ALSP, or in-house legal team.
* Excellent communication, attention to detail, and client-facing experience.
* Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word.

Desirable:
* Experience in telecommunications, financial services, or professional services sectors.
* In-house legal experience.
