Job Description
We are looking for a Digital Trading Assistant to join us on a Placement Year starting Summer 2026 for 12 months.
Responsibilities
* Work within the Digital Trading Team to drive sales through workflow management of campaigns and promotions.
* Report on digital trade highlighting key information.
* Analyse best‑sellers and stock levels to optimise online sales.
* Produce insight information for internal and external discussions.
* Prioritise workflow in reaction to communications of upcoming campaigns and promotions.
* Ensure products have the required content to launch online and resolve any issues to optimise sales.
* Support delivery of seasonal promotions and campaign edits in line with the company trading calendar.
* Optimise customer experience during daily site walks and data analysis.
* Maintain internal relationships and ensure understanding of seasonal priorities and launches.
* Participate in projects or carry out duties outside the standard remit that benefit the company.
* Manage key internal and external stakeholders, utilising appropriate communication methods.
* Be an active and positive contributor to the team, representing the digital trading team and going the extra mile.
Qualifications
* Currently completing a Degree and able to complete this year as part of a sandwich year.
* Analytical skills, enjoys working with data, and able to spot trends and make decisions from datasets.
* Strong communication skills and ability to interact with multiple teams.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to plan and organise own workload.
* Preferable Excel skills.
* Able to be based at our Shirebrook HQ.
