Logistics Assembly Runner (Temp contract)

At our plant in Glenrothes, Scotland we design, develop and produce radial piston motors working in partnership with world renowned international OEM’s in industries such as material handling, construction and forestry machinery.
Responsibilities
* Ensure that all manufactured parts are provided to the assembly process clean.
* Frequently exchange empty containers for full, pre‑loaded containers at each workstation.
* Collect empty packaging or reusable containers during the same run.
* Handle Kanban cards to trigger replenishment and verify part numbers and quantities at each stop.
* Accurately and efficiently follow work instructions.
* Use a pedestrian stacker (training will be provided).
* Work in order of priority for supply to the assembly process.
* Play a key part in supporting the shop floor and production operations.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial.
* Ability to read and follow work instructions.
* Experience using factory aids such as pallet trucks, pedestrian stackers, etc.
* Time‑keeping skills, with ability to prioritise work as and when needed.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
