Warranty and Parts Advisor opportunity in North Bristol
1. Salary: Between £28-35,000 per annum, pending experience.
2. Hours: 42.5-hour week. 8:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday.
Our client, an independent franchise-approved car dealership situated in the North Bristol region, is currently looking to recruit a Parts/Warranty Administrator to join their business. Reporting to the Aftersales Manager and working as a Parts/Warranty Administrator, you will perform a 50/50 split role covering both parts and warranty.
Your key responsibilities will include:
3. Preparing all warranty claims for submission to manufacturers for payment.
4. Checking and clearing weekly statements and querying any overdue claims not paid or any discrepancies in payments.
5. Ensuring all documentation falls in line with manufacturers' guidelines.
6. Preparing invoices and warranty claims accurately by manufacturers' and departmental standards.
7. Ensuring repair order documentation is fully and correctly completed.
8. Ensuring all policy claims are quickly dealt with, and the customer reimbursements are correct.
9. Maintaining high standards of control over displaced material returned to manufacturers.
10. Accurately reconciling warranty credits and correctly administering discrepancies.
11. Correctly identifying and promptly picking and supplying parts to our clients’ workshop team to carry out vehicle repairs.
12. Helping carry out parts stock control and audits.
13. Handling trade/retail customers regarding any parts inquiries.
To be eligible, previous experience working with automotive parts or handling warranty claims would be highly advantageous, but is non-essential provided you have strong automotive aftersales experience in a similar customer service service/administration orientated role. Overall, you will need to have strong clerical/data entry skills, a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and a customer-first mindset, whilst being able to work collaboratively across departments. Experience with the Pinnacle dealer management system would be beneficial, but is also non-essential. A UK driving licence with minimal points is a requirement.
