 
        
        Edenvale Avenue is a10 bedded residential service supporting individuals with sensory impairment and/or complex needs, abeautifulservice, offering a supportive working environment which iscommitment to quality, and an emphasis on training and development of our staff. The high staffing ratios reflect Sense’s commitment to provide high quality services that meet the unique needs of the people we support. Staff who carry out shifts at Edenvale residential may be expected to assist the people we support to attend our day centre Monday- Friday between 10am and 2.30pm. This includes assisting individuals with their morning routines, helping them prepare and pack for the day ahead, and attending the day centre with them, where they will participate in a range of activities catered to their likings, such as socialising, swimming, going to the café and arts & crafts.Staff will then support individuals to return home to Edenvale and provide customised support for the remainder of their shift, tailored to suit each individual's needs. This can include support to maintain own routines, doing personal shopping, support with food preparation and medication.For genuine occupational reasons we are looking to appoint a female candidate only (exemption under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9).  * Supporting people with their social life and night life.
Skills and Qualifications
 * Willing to work towards relevant qualifications.
 * A full UK Drivers Licence is desirable for this role.
