Pay rate: Weekday £14.18 per hour, Weeknight £14.70 per hour, Weekend day £14.70 per hour, Weekend nights £15.24 per hour, Sleep-ins £14.18 per hour (Monthly Pay).
Shift Pattern: Days & Sleep-in shifts - 8:00am - 8:00pm & 8:00pm - 8:00am.
We have a rewarding opportunity for the right person to work with an individual living in their family home in Bugle, Cornwall. This person has Autism and mild learning disabilities with behaviors that can be perceived as challenging, but this does not define them. We need people who are local to Bugle, Cornwall, know the area, and can drive a car with a full UK Driving Licence.
Enriching activities are an important part of your support, and you will bring an empathetic approach to make a difference in this person's life. You will also need previous experience in:
* Learning Disabilities
* Autism
* Behaviors that can be perceived as challenging
Your shift will involve: Providing high-quality care on a 2:1 basis, ensuring compassionate and tailored support. Engaging in meaningful activities, taking the individual out in the community to promote social interaction and well-being, supporting household tasks, and maintaining a clean, organized, and comfortable living environment. Clear and confident communication in their preferred manner is essential for building trust.
About Acuity Care Group: We have been supporting individuals for nearly 20 years, with over 900 staff across operations and support roles. Our supported living healthcare provider has three divisions: LD&A Learning Disabilities & Autism, Bespoke, and Team Brain Injury. This role is within our LD&A division, supported by an experienced Team Leader. We work in various locations to support adults and children with complex care needs, focusing on person-centered, empowering, and tailored care that promotes access to new experiences.
