Management Accountant
Annual Salary: £45,000 per annum depending on experience

Reed Accountancy Oxford are delighted to be partnering with a repeat client, who are seeking a Management Accountant to join its Finance Team. This role is ideal for a Management Accountant with strong interpersonal skills, a high level of attention to detail, and excellent time-management capabilities who ensures they meet all deadlines throughout the year. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to take ownership of the Management Accounts, in a community feel environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Provide a monthly comprehensive management accounts report, including detailed and summarised management reports on budgets, consolidated balance sheets, and monthly commentary to analyse variances.
* Assist with reforecasting income and expenditure where significant variances have occurred and respond to queries from budget holders regarding available funds.
* Produce costings, monthly accounts, quarterly recharges, and annual statutory accounts for audit.
* Maintain and implement new software systems.
* Conduct monthly reconciliations and postings for key accounts, including bank account reconciliations and monthly journals for corrections, investments postings, accruals, depreciation, and other asset entries.
* Manage sales invoicing and credit control, liaising with external agents and internal teams to ensure accurate invoicing and payment collection.
* Responsible for key balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring accurate information is included within the management accounts.
* Assist in the production of the annual budget and prepare financial information for audits.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Full or Part-Qualified Professional Accounting Qualification or significant experience in a similar role (minimum 5 years).
* Experience in implementing new software or changing software providers.
* Proficient in MS Office applications and experienced with accounts systems.
* Knowledge of VAT and experience working in a partial exemption environment.
* Excellent communication, administrative, and organisational skills.
* Ability to work accurately under pressure and manage time effectively.
