Finance Manager As the Finance Manager, you will be a key figure in the charity, focusing on the understanding of its finances, implementing key processes, controls, and reports, developing others’ financial knowledge, and providing insights, as well as strategical input to the Finance Director, CEO and Board. To be successful in this role, you should have a solid background in finance and accounting and be a developmental leader capable of supporting training needs and financial skills. Bringing a dynamic and personal approach will be key, showcasing strong engagement and influencing skills, whilst sharing knowledge in a collaborative manner. The ability to liaise with stakeholders effectively and communicate complex concepts clearly and simply is crucial. The ideal candidate should have a proven ability to prepare budgets and final accounts, as well as expertise in developing key performance indicator information and trend analysis to support decision-making. Knowledge of accountancy regulations and audit requirements under SORP is required, along with a strong understanding of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
