We are recruiting an enthusiastic and motivated healthcare assistant to join our friendly clinical team. We have flexibility in the hours required and will be recruiting between 22.5 and 37.5 hours per week (0.6 - 1.0 Full Time Equivalent). Main duties of the job
You will be a key part of our team delivering high-quality patient care under the supervision of registered healthcare professionals. The role will be varied and will include but not be limited to the following:
* Diagnostic tests such as ECG recording and blood pressure monitoring
* Wound care and dressings
* Vaccinations and Injections
* Diabetic foot checks
* Assisting with minor surgery, coils, and other procedures
* Personalised diet and lifestyle advice
* Stock Management and Ordering
* Infection Control and Equipment Maintenance
Although you will primarily be based in the surgery, you may occasionally be asked to visit a patient at home. Full training will be provided for any aspects of the role depending on your experience.

* Contribute to the practice ethos to improve and develop our processes and care
Person Specification
Qualifications
* A qualification to support employment as a Healthcare Assistant
* Phlebotomy training
* Have undertaken a personalised care course or motivational conversation training
Experience
* Experience working in the NHS as a Healthcare Assistant or related role
* Experience working in a GP Practice as a Healthcare Assistant
