Pharmacy Assistant – Day Lewis, Somerset Gardens Pharmacy
Location: Somerset Gardens
Hours: Full-time (approx. 40 hours per week)
Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 9am‑6pm
Day Lewis Pharmacy is looking for a friendly, motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Somerset Gardens.
You’ll be the welcoming face of our pharmacy, supporting patients and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Previous experience as a pharmacy counter assistant is a bonus, but not essential.
A strong, professional, and bubbly personality is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing excellent customer service at the counter and over the phone
* Managing a high volume of customers efficiently and professionally
* Offering compassionate, empathetic support to all patients
* Multitasking confidently in a fast‑paced environment
* Supporting the pharmacy team with daily operational tasks
* Maintaining a clean, welcoming, and organised front‑of‑house area
About You
* Friendly, approachable, and patient‑focused
* Strong communication and people skills
* Able to multitask and remain calm under pressure
* Compassionate with a customer‑first mindset
* Multilingual skills are an advantage
* Previous pharmacy or retail experience is helpful but not essential
