Your Day-to-Day…
1. You’ll be working 37.5 hours a week
2. Work in partnership with service users, their families and other stakeholders to support patient’s progress through their treatment pathway
3. Ensure that patients and their families/carers are aware of their legal rights
4. Take a lead role in safeguarding within the multidisciplinary team
5. Forge links and maintain contact with external agencies
6. Lead on assessing and supporting the social care needs of patient
You are….
7. A relevant Social Work qualification
8. Registered as a Social Worker with Social Work England
9. Minimum 2 years qualified experience
10. Experienced in working in a mental health setting, or passionate about working in this field
11. Highly knowledgeable of the Children’s Act, Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act, as well as
12. GDPR and patient confidentiality
13. Able to confidently apply the principles of safeguarding children in practise
14. One years’ post qualification experience working as a Social Worker with children
15. An excellent communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills
16. Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
17. Skilled in report writing with excellent literacy skills and attention to detail
