Job Title: Inclusion Support Worker
Location: Oldham
Pay: 16.11 per hour
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Inclusion Support Worker to join our SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in Oldham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people.

As an Inclusion Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with SEMH needs, helping them engage with their education in a positive and productive manner. You will provide tailored support to students on a 1:1 or small group basis, working alongside teachers and other staff to create an inclusive and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support students with SEMH needs, ensuring their engagement and participation in school activities.
* Work closely with teachers to implement individualized learning plans.
* Assist with managing behaviour and promoting positive social interactions.
* Provide emotional support to students, helping them build confidence and resilience.
* Monitor and track student progress and well-being, providing feedback to staff and parents.

Essential Skills and Experience:

* Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH or other learning difficulties.
* A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
* Strong communication skills, both with students and colleagues.
* Ability to manage challenging behaviour in a calm and constructive manner.
* A commitment to making a positive impact on students' emotional and academic development.
