Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Lettings Manager to oversee our property lettings operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service in the property sector.
Duties
* Manage the entire lettings process from initial enquiry through to tenancy commencement.
* Develop and maintain relationships with landlords, tenants, and other stakeholders.
* Conduct property viewings and provide comprehensive information to potential tenants.
* Prepare tenancy agreements and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
* Oversee the marketing of available properties through various channels.
* Maintain accurate records of all lettings activity and ensure all documentation is up to date.
* Provide administrative support including responding to queries, managing correspondence, and maintaining databases.
* Lead and motivate a team of lettings staff, ensuring high performance and professional development.
* Stay informed about market trends, rental prices, and local property regulations.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a lettings or property management role is highly desirable.
* Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences; multilingual skills are an advantage.
* Proficient in using property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
* A valid driving licence may be required for property viewings.
