A large, mission-driven organisation is seeking a Lead Developer to provide technical leadership across a portfolio of web and integration platforms supporting high-traffic, customer-facing digital services.
This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll balance active development with team leadership and mentoring. Working closely with architects, delivery teams, and senior stakeholders, you’ll help shape a consistent technical direction and ensure high‑quality, secure software delivery.
This role is ideal for an experienced developer who enjoys leading by example, setting engineering standards, and delivering scalable solutions in a complex, enterprise environment.
What You’ll Bring
* Strong background as a senior or lead software developer in a web or integration-focused environment
* Excellent hands‑on experience with .NET technologies including C#, ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core, MVC, Razor, and SQL Server
* CI/CD and IaC using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
What You’ll Do
* Lead the design, build, test, and deployment of robust, scalable web and integration solutions
* Remain hands‑on in development while providing technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching
* Own and evolve a portfolio of web applications and associated databases
* Act as a subject matter expert across development and Azure‑based integration services
* Lead sprint planning, estimation, and delivery using Agile/SCRUM methodologies
* Ensure development standards, security controls, and best practices are consistently applied
* Manage production releases and contribute to structured change and release management
* Collaborate with Architects, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to shape technical solutions
