We are a small, diverse and highly effective team, based in Belfast. We are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic and adaptable team member to take responsibility to deliver the placement element of our service for our international clients and their participants coming to Belfast for a mobility experience.
You will have a positive and energetic attitude, be able to build and maintain relationships, both talking to participants with different education backgrounds and English levels, and with local companies to make them understand our programmes and encourage them to host participants with the quality of mobility expected by our clients.
You are able to function effectively under pressure and be receptive to new ways of working, be flexible in approaching tasks and problems and provide suitable solutions to diverse situations.
This role will provide a great deal of variety and will expand as our operations grow. We work a 35hr week but some 'out of hours' duties will be necessary to support our programmes. This role could be part time (min 24 hours/week across 4 days) if that would suit the right candidate
Primary Duties Include:
* Arranging work experience placements in local organisations, in many different sectors, to suit the educational needs of the students that are grant funded to come to the UK
* Networking at business events to create and foster relationships for new host organisation partners
* Engage in planned social events with our participants
* Support our accommodation provision via our Homestay network and landlords with shared houses
* Take your turn on our pastoral care back up, via our helpline (calls & emails)
Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience in recruitment, education or project management an advantage
* Proficient with Word/Excel/Outlook
* Use of a CRM system will be required, any previous experience will be useful
* An enthusiasm for work-based learning, people development and Northern Irish Culture
Job Type: Full-time. Usually Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 4pm. Some evenings or weekends required for picking up participants or social activities. Part Time could be possible for the right applicant.
Salary: Range from £24,000 - £30,000 per annum + bonuses, subject to experience full time, part time hours would be pro-rata.
