Role Description
This is a full-time Senior Consultant role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with a hybrid working model that combines on-site client and office work with some work-from-home flexibility.
The Senior Consultant will lead and deliver client engagements related to operational resilience, business continuity, and crisis management, from discovery and assessment through to design, implementation, and assurance.
Responsibilities include conducting interviews and workshops, performing risk and impact analyses, developing plans and frameworks, and facilitating exercises and tests to validate client readiness.
The role involves preparing clear, high-quality reports and presentations, advising senior stakeholders on best practices and regulatory expectations, and supporting the development of methodologies, tools, and templates.
The Senior Consultant will also contribute to business development by supporting proposals, participating in thought leadership, and helping to build long-term client relationships.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in business continuity, crisis management, operational resilience, or related consulting, ideally in a client-facing capacity.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and assessment skills, including the ability to interpret data and produce actionable insights and recommendations.
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
* Demonstrated ability to design and deliver exercises, tests, workshops, and training sessions in resilience, continuity, or crisis preparedness.
* Solid project management skills, including planning, prioritization, and managing multiple engagements or workstreams to deadlines and budgets.
* Comfort working in a hybrid environment, combining on-site client and office visits in the London Area with remote work, and occasional travel as required.
* Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CBCI, MBCI, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor, PRINCE2, PMI) are highly beneficial.
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business, Risk Management, Emergency Management, Security, or similar) or equivalent professional experience.
