Internal Sales Advisor (Telesales) sought by the furniture solutions division of a global polymer manufacturer with over 20,000 employees across 170 locations worldwide to join their team based in Irlam.
The Role:
Known formally within the business as Internal Sales Specialist, your duties will include:
* Taking inbound calls, both internal and external
* Manage some small accounts and make outbound calls to assess new business opportunities, before passing to the Sales Managers
* Receiving and processing orders
* Interacting with new and existing customers to ensure understanding and logging potential sales opportunities on the CRM database
* Updating CRM database to capture up to date market information, range portfolios and competitor activity
* Research and log potential new prospects on internal database utilising market information and relevant furniture industry sources
* Work closely with the Warehouse / Dispatch team to coordinate and track customer deliveries
* Qualification of customer data and potential spend to generate a focus list for onward sales
The successful Internal Sales Advisor will demonstrate the following:
* Excellent telephone manner and communication skills within a lively customer orientated sales office
* Experience a telesales / sales support or business development role, ideally within a B2B environment
