Job Description
Credit Controller responsibilities:
7. Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities
8. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payments and customer disputes
9. Coordinate with the Accounting & Finance department to confirm the status of accounts and balances
10. Maintain an up-to-date billing system and customer files
11. Perform account reconciliations
12. Review credit applications and perform credit checks
13. Prepare reports detailing accounts receivable status
14. Propose write-off of irrecoverable receivables
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
15. An educational background in Accounting or a related field
16. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of relevant software
17. Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and fair credit practices
18. Excellent communication skills
19. High degree of attention to detail
