Office Administrator
The Office Administrator plays an integral role within the operational side of the Senior Leadership Team across the School. They are responsible for providing valuable administrative support to members of the Senior Leadership Team including the Deputy Head (Operations). The postholder must, therefore, not only be organised but also efficient, creative and proactive: someone capable of self-starting and self-management. They should also enjoy working alongside others, including being part of a team of administrators, which is a key part of the role.
Hours of Work: 37.5hrs per week Monday to Friday. Hours of work will be 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday (less one-hour unpaid lunch break). The post holder required to work Sherborne School Term Time (to include working INSET) as well as two weeks during the summer holidays. Attendance on some Saturdays may be required, although notice will be given in advance, for which you will receive time off in lieu. To fulfil the demands of the post you may be required to be flexible in terms of working hours.
Salary: £20,079.75 per annum (£13.06 per hour), which includes payment for 35.4 working weeks, plus 5.6 weeks' holiday pay. Salaries are paid monthly in arrears direct into your nominated bank account.
