Role Profile

My client is an established business in Stockport, looking to appoint a professional and reliable Administrator to support with a wide range of tasks across their Procurement and Supply Chain function.

If you have previous experience as an Administrator or Coordinator and thrive in a dynamic, varied role where no two days are the same, this is the opportunity for you!!

Key responsibilities:

Provide wide-ranging administrative support to colleagues across Procurement and Supply Chain including but not limited to:

5. Overseeing health and safety requirements for contractors working onsite
6. Maintaining records for departmental Health & Safety and Facilities Management
7. Managing database for Supplier Quality documentation and certification
8. Maintaining the department's time and attendance system / reports
9. Creating Purchase Requisitions for low value department purchases
10. Answering queries from customers, suppliers and contractors via email and phone
11. Supporting with adhoc tasks and reporting requirements

Skills & Experience:

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

12. Previous experience in a Coordinator or Administrator position
13. Highly professional manner, particular in dealing with suppliers and customers
14. Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
15. Ability to quickly adapt to new tasks and to thrive in a varied role
16. Good IT skills including Basic Excel and good working knowledge of Word and Ppt

Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous but not essential, as would previous exposure to working within a Procurement, Supply Chain or Logistics team
