A leading Defence prime with offices around the U.K are looking for an experienced security cleared Project Manager to take on a hybrid role that combines traditional project management with key responsibilities within our IT Project Management Office (PMO).
The ideal candidate will stand out by having the below key skills.
* **Currently security cleared (Non-negotiable requirement)**
* Extensive project management and PMO experience within a early stage/start up Defence or Military client
* Process design/management and governance experience
* Familiarity with IT Service Management frameworks (e.g. ITIL)
* Certified Project Manager (PMP, APM PMQ, MAPM or equivalent)
As the Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for planning, controlling, and delivering complex projects within a structured governance and assurance environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Defining and documenting business requirements to ensure robust, realistic project plans
* Managing capital and operational expenditure forecasts, supporting effective budget control
* Assessing and aligning business opportunities with organisational processes and plans
* Communicating progress, risks, and key updates to stakeholders across the business
* Monitoring schedule performance and providing insights to senior leadership
* Leading and developing teams, ensuring effective delivery aligned to governance standards
