A high-performing 11–18 school in Tamworth is looking to appoint a dedicated Attendance Officer from January 2026 to promote high attendance and support student welfare.
The Role
You will work as a key part of the pastoral team, ensuring accurate daily attendance tracking and early intervention. Duties include:
* Monitoring attendance dashboards and registers
* Making first-day absence calls and logging parental responses
* Producing weekly attendance reports for Heads of Year and SLT
* Coordinating attendance meetings with families
* Supporting return-to-school plans and pastoral interventions
* Liaising with external agencies where required
