A well-established law firm and medical company based in the North West iscurrently seeking a Medical Records Paginator Department Head to join theirteam at their St Helens office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and detail-focused professionalwith a strong background in medical records pagination to step into a seniorleadership role within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operations of the medical pagination department
* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of pagination professionals
* Personally handle a number of medical pagination files to support team workload and maintain hands-on expertise
* Review and ensure the accuracy and compliance of medical records and chronologies
* Liaise with solicitors, medical experts, and clients to fulfil pagination requirements
* Allocate resources and monitor workloads to meet deadlines
* Implement training plans and quality assurance processes
* Stay up to date with relevant legal and medical terminology and practices
Candidate Requirements
* Significant experience in medical records pagination (ideally in a legal or medico-legal setting)
* Previous leadership or management experience
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Sound knowledge of medical terminology and legal processes related to personal injury and clinical negligence
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
* Effective communication and team coordination skills
