Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Interim Clinical Nurse Manager within our surgical division based at University Hospital Ayr. This is a fixed term/secondment opportunity for 3 months.
What you will do:
You will provide senior nurse leadership and contribute to delivery of high quality, safe, effective and efficient patient care. You will assist and contribute to achieving strategic objectives and supporting operational delivery of surgical services in line with NHS Ayrshire and Arran’s purpose, values and commitments.
You will have extensive experience within an Acute healthcare setting aswell as surgical experience and knowledge.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
You must be an NMC registered nurse, degree educated as a minimum with evidence of post- registration learning within speciality field of surgical.

Hours:
37hrs Monday through Friday
Shadowing opportunity for duty managing may be offered as part of this development opportunity
Fixed Term/Secondment:
This post is offered on a three month fixed term/secondment basis and line manager approval should be sought for authorisation before applying for position
UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership:
UK driving licence/Car ownership is essential to this role.
