Following continued growth of the Jensten Group, we are seeking to recruit a Payroll Administrator to support the Payroll & Benefits Manager in the end-to-end payroll and benefits process in a seamless and compliant manner for circa 1000 employees and growing.
You will be a part of the wider HR Shared Services & Operations team, which is based at our Huntingdon office with the flexibility of hybrid working (3 days office, 2 days from home).
Key responsibilities of Payroll Administrator:
Payroll Processing: Assist in the preparation and processing of a monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and UK employment laws.
System Administration: Update relevant HR & Payroll systems with employee information to ensure data accuracy and efficiency.
Employee Support: Manage employee queries related to payroll & benefits within our ticketing system and assist in resolving any payroll discrepancies promptly.
Benefits Administration: Provide administrative support for pensions and benefits, answering queries from internal and external contacts.
About you
As our Payroll Administrator, you should have experience working in an administrative role, with the confidence to address queries effectively and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders.
You’ll also be or have:
Good team player with the ability to support the wider team when needed
Able to prioritize tasks and take initiative
Proven experience working under tight deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience using Microsoft Outlook & Excel
