THE ROLEWe are looking for an ambitious and highly organised B2B Writer for our technology team, who is articulate, curious, proactive and thrives in a fast-paced environment across a range of projects.Whilst you first and foremost need to be a solid writer, we are really looking for someone who is passionate about technology, marketing and has that knack for being able to craft both long form & short form copy for some of our key technology clients. Reporting into a Director of Content and part of a small but collaborative team, it is integral that you are proactive and forward thinking when it comes to bringing creative ideas to life, where you could be delivering anything from social copy, scripts, reports and bylines – we will be looking to you for creative ideation and a conceptual mind to go with it. Most importantly, we’re really looking for someone who is collaborative, confident and energetic when it comes to writing and exciting everyone around them about their ideas too. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES End-to-end content writing: produce insightful short and long form writing pieces and drive the conceptual process from ideation right through to execution Collaborative subediting: use your sharp eye for detail to ensure all copy produced by the editorial team is free of spelling and grammatical errorsCreative briefing and oversight: translate client briefs into compelling and actionable writing briefs, collaborating with your team to bring these to lifeClient counsel: work closely with clients, in partnership with creative and account teams, to drive B2B writing strategy and provide creative insightNew business: contribute to new business pitching, helping develop creative ideas for new opportunities across VCCP RoarBeing an expert in writing & delivery: master a TOV and output that translates successfully across all clients but with a specific execution style that rings true to each key clientTrend monitoring: keep up to date with the latest developments in tech and businessROLE SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIREDPrevious experience working on/writing for technology clients A background within PR Strong communicator and writerCritical thinking Collaborative spirit WHO YOU AREYou are a confident and analytical thinker who uses slick writing skills and technical expertise to improve our clients’ communications and play a regular role in advising them.
