St Anne’s College Boat Club, Oxford – Women’s Lower Boat Coach
St. Anne’s College Boat Club (SABC) is seeking a Women’s Lower Boat Coach for the academic year 2025/26, primarily to coach SABC’s W2 crew.
Our goal is to rebuild a competitive W2 team this year, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, tenacious, and growth-oriented coach to help achieve this.
While the main focus will be on coaching the W2, there will be occasional opportunities to coach SABC’s M1-M3, W1, and W3 crews, providing a chance to utilize and develop coaching skills across various experience levels. The coach should be confident in training coxes of different experience levels, starting from novice.
The role requires coaching at least three water sessions per week during Oxford term-time. Typical session times are 06:30 and 17:00 on weekdays, any time on Saturday, and 13:00 & 15:00 on Sunday. Availability during Oxford vacations for coaching and feedback during training camps or sessions is preferred.
The coach will monitor crew and individual rower progress, offering encouragement and advice to maximize training benefits.
