St Luke's Medical Practice is seeking an experienced and reliable GP Locum to join our friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team providing remote telephone consultations.
St Lukes is a well-established GP training practice based within modern purpose-built NHS premises in the semi-rural town of Carluke, ideally located between Glasgow and Edinburgh with excellent transport links to both cities. The practice serves approximately 11,400 patients across Carluke and the surrounding villages of Law, Braidwood, Cartland, Crossford and Rosebank, together with nearby rural communities.

This flexible remote opportunity is ideal for GPs seeking work-from-home sessions while remaining part of a supportive and dynamic primary care team.
Role Responsibilities
8. Conduct remote telephone consultations with patients
9. Assess, diagnose and manage a broad range of primary care conditions
10. Provide clinical advice, treatment plans, prescriptions and referrals where appropriate
11. Maintain accurate and timely clinical records using the Vision clinical system
12. Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary and administrative team
Requirements
13. GMC registered GP with licence to practice
14. Approved to work within the NHS Lanarkshire Board area
15. Previous GP / primary care experience essential
16. Experience using Vision desirable
17. Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
18. Ability to work independently in a remote setting
