At St Peter’s Hospice, we’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and caring Office Cleaner to join our friendly Housekeeping Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a purpose‑led organisation where your work helps create a safe, comfortable environment for patients, families and colleagues every day.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this important and rewarding role, you’ll help keep our hospice offices and public areas looking their best. Your day will include:
* Carrying out routine cleaning tasks across office and communal spaces to a high standard
* Working from daily priorities or the regular cleaning schedule set by the Housekeeping Supervisor
* Ensuring equipment is used safely and well maintained, reporting any issues as needed
* Preparing cleaning trolleys for the next shift and monitoring stock levels
* Maintaining excellent Health & Safety and Hygiene practices, including COSHH procedures
Who We’re Looking For
You don’t need formal qualifications — just a positive approach and a commitment to great standards. If you are:
* Experienced in cleaning (office or clinical experience a bonus)
* Someone with good attention to detail and pride in your work
* Friendly, reliable and a great team player
* Comfortable working independently and adapting to daily needs
* Physically able to meet the demands of the role
* Compassionate and respectful of the sensitive nature of hospice work

* £23,874 FTE
* Part time – 16 hours per week

Working Pattern
* Monday: 6am–11am (5 hours)
* Tuesday: 6am–11am (5 hours)
* Wednesday: 6am–8am (2 hours)
* Thursday: 6am–8am (2 hours)
* Friday: 6am–8am (2 hours)
