If so, being a Governor at Platt CE Primary School could be just the role for you. We are a small school with a friendly, caring staff and an equally dedicated group of volunteers making up our governing body. We all work together to ensure that every child in our school is happy and safe, and to offer them every opportunity to learn and to succeed.
What you will do
* Support the school’s governance to help provide a happy, safe learning environment and opportunities for all children.
* Collaborate with staff and volunteers as part of the governing body to fulfil its responsibilities.
* Contribute to strategic planning and oversight of the school’s performance and safeguarding.
Who can apply / Qualifications
You don’t need experience in education to be a school governor as we provide full training. We welcome interest from all walks of life to bring different perspectives and views.
