We’re looking for a Head of Sales to join our leadership team and help shape the future of our business.
If you have a strong background in food wholesale, retail, or both — and the ability to quickly get to grips with the wider food industry — this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
🔹 About the Role:
You’ll lead, coach, and develop a growing sales team, supporting our National Account Managers to strengthen existing accounts and win new ones.
You’ll be part of the senior leadership team, working closely across departments to build a more collaborative, efficient supply chain — ensuring our customer products arrive where and when they need them.
With your ear to the ground, you'll spot market trends, understand client needs, and translate insight into action.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategic plans to hit sales targets and expand our customer base.
* Build and lead a high-performing sales team — recruiting, training, and managing performance.
* Set clear KPIs, track team performance, and provide hands-on coaching to exceed goals.
* Collaborate with the Marketing team to align on lead generation, branding, and promotional campaigns.
* Work with the New Product Development (NPD) team to share market insight and influence product direction.
* Analyse key sales metrics and provide senior leadership with clear, actionable reports.
* Build strong, long-term relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
* Continuously improve sales processes to reduce sales cycles and increase win rates.
* Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
