We are seeking an experienced Manager / Senior Manager to join our growing business advisory chartered accountancy practice. The successful candidate will work closely with a partner to assist in expanding our large and growing business advisory client base. This role requires a seasoned accountant with a strong background in business advisory services, taxation, excellent leadership and organisational skills, and a passion for client service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing high-quality business advisory and taxation services tailored to their needs.
* Business Development:
Assist the partner in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, contributing to the growth of the client base.
Provide expert advice on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance improvement to help clients achieve their business objectives.
* Taxation Services:
Offer comprehensive tax planning and compliance services, including preparation and review of tax returns, advising on tax-efficient strategies, and ensuring clients meet their tax obligations.
* Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure clients comply with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements, preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports.
Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
* Project Management:
Oversee multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services.
* Strategic Planning:
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans for the business advisory practice.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with client engagements and business operations.
* Organisational Skills:
Demonstrate strong organisational skills to manage workloads, prioritise tasks, and ensure efficient workflow within the team.

* Strong technical accounting knowledge and expertise in business advisory and taxation services.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA) would be helpful.
Experience:
* Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business advisory services and taxation within a chartered accountancy practice.
