Overview
Senior Communication and Engagement Officer role at Gutsy Gals Inspire Me. This is part of Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trusts’ plans to redevelop the acute wards in its main mental health hospital serving Bradford District & Craven. You will join a multi-disciplinary redevelopment team with clinical and design expertise, construction/project management excellence, and specialist roles. The team works in a fast-paced, collaborative environment responsible for the phased planning, design and redevelopment/construction of Lynfield Mount Hospital’s acute wards over three years. Reporting to the Trust’s Head of Communication and Marketing and working closely with the Project Director, you will be responsible for delivering high quality communications, engaging key stakeholders, and raising awareness of the redevelopment plans and activities. You will need to be creative and maximise engagement through a range of online and offline channels. The role may require travel to Lynfield Mount Hospital, Bradford, and offers flexible working arrangements.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high quality and effective communications for Lynfield Mount Hospital’s redevelopment, creating, project managing and delivering communication activity/campaigns.
* Develop and implement the headline communications and engagement strategy and tactical plan.
* Engage key stakeholders and raise awareness of the ambitious phased three-year redevelopment plans.
* Provide communications advice and counsel to the project team on effective tactics, aligning with the Trust’s style and branding guidelines. This may include influencing and persuading on the most appropriate communications approach.
* Involve the Trust’s Patient and Carer Experience and Involvement team to ensure proactive engagement of services users, carers and families, alongside wider engagement activity.
* Develop and deliver creative approaches to maximise awareness and engagement through internal and external online and offline channels including traditional media, print, digital (website/intranet, Facebook, X, Vimeo), promotional material, events, stakeholder engagement and e-bulletins.
