This is a client-facing position within a small on-site engineering team, working alongside a Mechanical Engineer to deliver a first-class maintenance service. The successful candidate will be electrically biased, technically competent, and confident managing day-to-day site operations while maintaining strong relationships with the client. The role requires a hands-on supervisor who is comfortable making decisions, managing electronic logbooks and CAFM systems, and communicating effectively with both clients and contractors. This is a challenging but rewarding position with significant client interaction and responsibility.Hours of WorkMonday – Friday - 08:00am – 17:00pmKey ResponsibilitiesSupervising day-to-day engineering operations across the siteCarrying out planned preventative maintenance PPM and reactive maintenanceManaging electronic logbooks and CAFM systemsIssuing and controlling Permits to WorkLiaising directly with the client and attending regular meetingsCoordinating specialist contractors and monitoring service deliveryEnsuring compliance with health & safety procedures and site regulationsProducing weekly and monthly reportsSupporting the Mechanical Engineer and maintaining a collaborative team environmentIdentifying and escalating technical issues where necessaryMaintaining accurate records and ensuring all works are completed to a high standardRequirementsElectrically qualified City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 or equivalentExcellent communication and client-facing skillsAbility to make decisions confidently and take ownership of site operationsProfessional, approachable, and capable of building strong working relationshipsStrong organisational and administrative skillsTo apply, please send your CV to Katie at CBW Staffing Solutions for more information.
