Are you highly organised, proactive, and passionate about supporting a charity that makes a real difference? We’re looking for a Part-Time Administrator to join our team and help keep our operations running smoothly.


The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9.30am until 2.30pm and this is a 3-month fixed term contract to start on Monday 24th November.


Key Responsibilities



1. Cover reception when volunteers are unavailable.

2. Coordinate volunteer rota and assist with training.

3. Manage bookings, mileage logs, MOTs, services, and insurance records.

4. Organise cleaning and safety checks.

5. Assist with monitoring and reporting.

6. Maintain risk assessment records and replenish First Aid kits.

7. Process purchase requisitions and orders.

8. Monitor and replenish stationery, merchandise, and uniforms.

9. Organise merchandise dispatch and event equipment sign-out.

10. Prepare meeting rooms for VIP visits and organise refreshments.

11. Handle post (franking and collection).

12. Support adhoc tasks to ensure smooth operations.

13. Occasionally lift boxes and stock (handling aids provided for larger items).



What We’re Looking For



14. Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

15. Excellent communication and attention to detail.

16. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

17. Previous admin experience is desirable, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.



The office is based in a rural location in Great Horwood so transport is required.
