Responsibilities
* Review and work in accordance with individual care plans for our residents and provide personal care in line with them, enhancing their physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
* Interact with friends and family of residents where appropriate, including attending review meetings; greet other visitors and represent Rochcare professionally.
* Show a desire and passion to help make a difference; work effectively as part of a team that respects every person as a unique individual, treating them with the dignity you would wish for yourself.
* Build and maintain relationships with residents whose understanding is impaired and their families through good communication skills.
* Complete all necessary records and routines accurately and maintain a clean and safe working environment for everyone living and working at the home.
Qualifications
Required Criteria
* Right to live and work in the UK
* A kind, patient and compassionate nature
* Good English, numeracy and writing skills
* Good communication and listening skills
Desired Criteria
* GCSE (or equivalent) A–C in English and Maths
* A social care qualification such as Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care
