The role
Mobile Vending Operator
Deliver and restock vending machines across multiple sites each day, keeping customers supplied and machines running smoothly. You'll work regular daytime hours, receive full training, and move into a permanent role after an initial agency period.
Role details
This is a full-time, temp-to-perm role based around the Livingston / Broxburn area, working 06:00-15:30 Monday to Friday (times may vary slightly by route), paying £12.71 per hour PAYE and moving to the Real Living Wage after 12 weeks, with a company van provided once training is complete.
The role
As a Mobile Vending Operator you'll be responsible for delivering stock and servicing vending machines across a set route of multiple sites each day. The role exists to keep machines filled, clean and operational so customers always have access to products when they need them. After on-the-job training you'll manage your own daily runs using a company van.
What you'll be doing
- Delivering stock and replenishing vending machines across 7-10 sites per day in the central belt.
- Lifting, carrying and loading products throughout the shift, including regular heavy items.
- Cleaning and tidying machines so they remain presentable and ready for customer use.
- Following planned routes and schedules to complete daily runs on time.
- Checking machines for simple issues and carrying out basic resets or adjustments after training.
- Recording deliveries and stock levels using basic paperwork or electronic systems.
What we're looking for
- 2+ years of van driving experience in the UK.
- Valid driving licence with a maximum of 3 points and no CD, DR or DD endorsements.
- Solid work history with 2 references.
- Organised, reliable and customer focused.
- Fast learner with good technical knowhow and practical skills.
- Physically fit and comfortable with regular heavy lifting.
- Living within the Livingston / Broxburn area.
- Able to obtain a Basic Disclosure, with support available.
