Role Purpose
The Property Care Assistant plays a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across all assigned properties, including short-term rental accommodations and office spaces. This role ensures a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for guests, staff, and visitors while supporting the overall smooth operation of the properties.
Key Responsibilities
Airbnb / Short-Term Rentals
* Prepare properties for guest check-in by cleaning and resetting all areas to a high standard.
* Change and launder bed linens, towels, and restock toiletries, kitchen essentials, and other supplies.
* Carry out light laundry, ironing, and organizing duties as required.
* Report damages, maintenance issues, or missing items promptly to the Director/Team Leader.
* Ensure all areas comply with hygiene, safety, and presentation standards.
Office Cleaning
* Maintain daily and periodic cleanliness of office spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces.
* Clean and sanitise desks, chairs, meeting rooms, kitchens, restrooms, and communal areas.
* Restock consumables such as soap, paper towels, and refreshments.
* Manage waste disposal responsibly, including recycling where appropriate.
* Ensure all areas meet health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
General Duties
* Carry out any reasonable tasks and additional duties as directed by the Director or Property Care Team Leader.
* Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting shortages or issues promptly.
* Follow company policies and procedures, including health and safety and safeguarding requirements.
* Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of guests and staff in all properties.
* Contribute to team communication, offering suggestions for improvements in property care.
